Offering Through Online Bill Payment<\/h3>\t\t\t

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE BILL PAYMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

NTCBC has enrolled with Bank of Montreal, CIBC, Royal Bank Canada, Scotiabank, and National Bank<\/strong> as a Bill Payment Creditor.\u00a0 You can now make offering through Online Banking or Mobile Banking services similar to making payments for your utility bills.<\/p>\n

Step 1 \u2013 Add North Toronto Chinese Baptist Church as \u201cPayee\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

To set up your online payments, you will need to add \u201cNorth Toronto Chinese Baptist Church\u201d as a new \u201cpayee\u201d according to the specific payee identifier below for each bank.<\/p>\n

Please note RBC supports regular Bill payees and\u00a0eBills\u00a0which is the enhanced bill payment with Canada post integration. The main account menu will by default link to eBills.\u00a0 Please change it to \u201cBill Payees\u201d option for your offering to NTCBC.<\/p>\n

Step 2 \u2013 Provide the account number for your payment<\/strong><\/p>\n

The account number for your offering\/payment is a 7 alphanumeric number consists of your 6 alphanumeric offering number and an alphabet at the end to identify the purpose of your contribution.<\/p>\n

\nM \u2013 Mission Fund
\nR \u2013 Repair and Maintenance<\/p>\n

The Online Bill Payment Account Number will be \u201cE12345G\u201d for offering designated to General Fund.<\/p>\n

For contribution to each fund type, a different Account Number is required under the same payee \u201cNorth Toronto Chinese Baptist Church\u201d.\u00a0 For example:<\/p>\n

E12345M \u2013 For Mission Fund
\nE12345B \u2013 For Building Fund
\nE12345R \u2013 For Repair and Maintenance<\/p>\n

IMPORTANT: BILL PAYMENT CAN ONLY BE ACCEPTED WITH AN OFFERING NUMBER IN THE 6 ALPHANUMERIC FORMAT.\u00a0 PLEASE FILL IN THE CONTACT FORM WITH THE LINK BELOW OR CONTACT onlineofferinginfo@ntcbc.org TO REQUEST A VALID OFFERING NUMBER IF REQUIRED.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 3 \u2013 Payment Date<\/strong><\/p>\n

Before fully adapting to this new option, we will only accept offerings by Bill Payments on the 1st<\/sup> to 7th<\/sup> day of each month (e.g. Aug 1 to Aug 7).\u00a0 Please select a payment date within this date range for your offering payment.<\/p>\n

AS THE CHRUCH WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY NOTIFICATION OF YOUR ONLINE BILL PAYMENT AND PAYMENTS ARE PROCESSED AUTOMATICALLY, IT IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO CHECK AND CONFIRM THE ONLINE PAYMENT IS SET UP PROPERLY WITH THE CORRECT \u201cPAYEE\u201d. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Although the offering amount will be debited from your bank account immediately upon confirmation, it can take up to 4 business days for the offering to be credited to the church\u2019s account. \u00a0Your offering will only be considered received by the church upon receipt of the credit.<\/p>\n

Upon receipt of your first offerings made via \u201cBill Payment\u201d; we shall send you a password to access the monthly offering summary for you to check against your own record.\u00a0 No individual confirmation will be provided.<\/p>\n

Offerings in all formats (i.e. cash, e-transfer, cheque, online bill payments) will be combined and reported under the same NTCBC assigned offering number for tax reporting.<\/p>\n

Offering Cheques By Mail<\/h3>\t\t\t

We are now accepting offerings cheques by mail.<\/p>\n

You can make your cheque payable to “NTCBC” and mail to:

Please include your name and offering number in the memo line of the cheque. Unless indicated otherwise in the memo line, all offerings will be designated to the General Fund<\/span>. As postal service takes longer than usual during the pandemic, please wait for at least 3 weeks after mailing before you contact the office if you have any questions or concerns.<\/p>\n
