Post-Sermon Sharing and Prayer<\/h3>\t\t\t

As a faith community, we have a responsibility to care for one another. While social distancing may hinder our ability to meet physically, God has equipped us with the technology to meet online so that we can continue to fellowship together.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Opportunity for Generosity – frontlinemasks.ca<\/h3>\t\t\t

James 1:27 \u2013 Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

God\u2019s call is for us to care for those who are in need. While the Covid-19 pandemic is terrible, it also presents us an opportunity to shine Christ\u2019s love and kindness by being generous and charitable to those who are in need. Charity is one of the best ways for us to shine the love of Christ and bring glory to our Father in Heaven (Matthew 5:16).<\/span><\/p>\n

There is a severe shortage of Personal Protective Equipment for medical front-line workers. We believe that participating in a campaign for the donation of face masks and money is a small step that we can all take to support our front-line workers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Joint Congregation Missions Prayer meeting<\/h3>\t\t\t

Wednesday night – April 29th at 8:00p.m.<\/strong> There will be a joint-congregation prayer meeting for us to seek out God’s will and the needs in mission fields.<\/p>\n

Support Our Missionaries and Mission Organizations<\/h3>\t\t\t

In 2 Corinthians 8, the Macedonian churches were pleading with Paul to allow them to share their resources even though they were in poverty, themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n

2 In the midst of a very severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity. 3 For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own, 4 they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the Lord\u2019s people.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

We want to remind brothers and sisters to pray for the missionaries and mission organizations NTCBC supports and to continue to give your financial support. NTCBC supports several local organizations that serve the poor, the homeless, refugees, and vulnerable. In this time of the COVID-19 pandemic their services are needed more than ever. Please also consider donating directly to these agencies.
