2024 Annual General Meeting – November 24, 2:00 PM<\/h3>\t\t\t

If you are a member of NTCBC, you are called to participate in our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on
\nSunday Nov 24 at 2pm.<\/p>\n

  1. Church Annual Update<\/li>\n
  2. Board of Directors Annual Update<\/li>\n
  3. Current Board of Directors &amp; Introduction of Board Nominees<\/li>\n
  4. Introduction of Pastoral Candidate<\/li>\n
  5. Annual Membership Affirmation<\/li>\n
  6. Presentation of FY2024 Financial Statements<\/li>\n
  7. Church Renovation – Final Update &amp; Recognition of Volunteers<\/li>\n
  8. Motions – Resolutions to:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    (a) Re-appoint Deaconess Loraine Chan to the Board of Directors for the coming term.
    \n(b) Appoint Deaconess Amy Hong and Deacon Norm Seto to the Board of Directors for the coming term.
    \n(c) Approve new membership applications.
    \n(d) Approve membership transfer-in applications.
    \n(e) Appoint Norton McMullen LLP as auditors for FY2025.<\/p>\n

    Mission Prayer meeting \u2013 November 27, 8:00 PM<\/h3>\t\t\t

    This month, we are praying over Power2Change. Graham and Jen Watt will be speaking at our prayer meeting to share more about the ministry and how we can support them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    Christmas Service – December 21, 9:45AM<\/h3>\t\t\t

    We will be celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 21, 9:45 AM. During our
    \nChristmas service, we will be singing Christmas Carols and hearing stories of God\u2019s redeeming work. Our Children\u2019s Ministry will also be hosting a special program for the kids while the adults hear God-Stories and receive a short message.<\/p>\n

    After our service, we will be hosting a Meet &amp; Greet with refreshments from 11:15 AM \u2013 12:30 PM. It will be an excellent opportunity to invite your friends and family to not only hear about God\u2019s goodness, but to connect them with others in this faith community.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    Online Giving\/Tithing<\/h3>\t\t\t

    Offering is a privilege and responsibility for members. Our encouragement is for each member to prayerfully seek God\u2019s guidance for how they ought to be giving in this season. All offering goes towards funding ministries locally and globally.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    We encourage the congregation to apply for a personal offering number to allow efficient and accurate recording of offering information. We encourage the congregation to offer online through e-transfer or online banking. If you choose to give offering via cheque, we ask that you write the church’s full name “North Toronto Chinese Baptist Church”. The banks no longer accept the short form NTCBC as a valid payee.<\/span><\/p>\n
