In previous chapters, we saw the Bible\u2019s call to maximize that ministry\/purpose. In this chapter, we learn that maximizing our ministry and living out our purpose will require sacrificing personal comforts and pleasures. However, we are reminded that we do not sacrifice to earn God\u2019s favour or as a way to flaunt our spiritual superiority.
