Bible Text: 1 Corinthians 14:26-40 | Preacher: Kwan Chan | Series: One Body One Mission | 1 Corinthians 12-14 has one overarching\u00a0message: Use the gifts that God has given you in an orderly manner to lovingly build up the Body of\u00a0Christ. The issue in the Church in Corinth was that\u00a0though they were gifted, they were neither loving\u00a0nor orderly.<\/p>\n
Paul reminded them that the need to be orderly was based on their calling to reflect God\u2019s character. It was also so that they could build up the Church in an effective manner.<\/p>\n
After giving these instructions, he concluded by preaching the Good News so that we would remember that though we fall short of God\u2019s expectations, He still loves us and desires to lead us to live out His good purposes for our lives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
