Jesus\u2019 royalty is further emphasized in our passage, where He is explicitly called \u2018the king of the Jews\u2019 and \u2018a ruler who will shepherd.\u2019 In the story prior, we learn that Jesus\u2019 rule will be defined by His saving work, as His very name means \u201csaving one.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>From the descriptions given to Him, we know that Jesus is a good King who desires to lead us towards God and to restore us from the effects of sin.
