Bible Text: 1 Corinthians 1:1-17 | Preacher: Kwan Chan | Series: One Body One Mission | In the introduction of his letter to the Church in Corinth, Paul wastes no time in pointing out that their arrogance and pride had created division within the church. He points out their sin, calls them to repent, and then points them to live up to their calling as God’s saintly community. Paul’s instruction is equally applicable to our church today, as unfortunately, there are still hints of grumbling and dissension that lead to mini-fractures within our community. Our prayer is that God’s Word will convict us to turn from our sins and to live up to God’s calling on our lives to be united on mission together.
