Vida Elementary School Purulhá
Located in the town of Purulhá, the Vida Purulhá campus hosts an elementary school and a junior high program.
This class is part of the Vida Purulhá Elementary School, which provides a Christ-centered education to nearly 200 students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 7. Vida Purulhá was established in 2007 at the urgent request of the local mayor, who recognized the limited educational opportunities available to the community’s children. This invitation was a divine opportunity to share the Gospel with students and their families. Since its opening, Vida Purulhá has transformed the atmosphere of the municipality, serving as a beacon of hope and a place of restoration where the message of salvation is proclaimed daily. As students receive a quality education and learn to seek God, they bring His love home to their families. Our prayer is that they will grow into godly leaders who will serve the Lord and impact their community for years to come.
Ministry Update
Your class is learning a lot this year!
In kindergarten, the students are learning to acknowledge that God loves them and has good plans for their lives. They are learning to express love for God and their neighbor and to recognize their own uniqueness and show gratitude for their gifts and talents. They are practicing values and courtesy in their daily lives and demonstrating their creative abilities. The kindergarten students are learning to exhibit independence by engaging in activities such as coloring, cutting, writing their names, tying their shoelaces, buttoning, personal care and hygiene, and maintaining order. They are continuing to learn their alphabet and are learning age-appropriate logical-mathematical thinking skills, including recognizing and writing the numbers from 1 to 30.

- Pray for the kindergarten children to grow in the knowledge of God’s love, to develop Christlike character and gratitude for their unique gifts, and to thrive in both their learning and life skills as they grow in independence, creativity, and foundational academics.
- Pray for NTCBC’s mission giving, that God would lead the church to experience Him more deeply through generous and faithful giving and that every gift would be used to advance His kingdom and bless the children and communities being served.
