Offering Number
We accept offerings through one of the following methods:
Instructions for Online Bill Payment
Congregations can use Online Bill Payment service to make offerings through online banking or mobile banking systems, just like paying a regular utility bill.
Banks that accept the Church as a payee for online bill payment services include:- Bank of Montreal
- Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce
- Royal Bank of Canada
- Bank of Nova Scotia
- TD Bank
Step 1 – Apply for an offering number by following the directions in the "Offering Number" section if required
Step 2 – Add North Toronto Chinese Baptist Church as “Payee”
To set up your online payments, you will need to add “North Toronto Chinese Baptist Church” as a new “payee” according to the specific payee identifier below for each bank.- BMO – “NORTH TORONTO CHINESE BAPTIST CHURCH”
- CIBC – “NORTH TORONTO CHINESE BAPTIST”
- Royal Bank of Canada - “NORTH TORONTO CHINESE BAPTIST CHURC”
- Bank of Nova Scotia – “NORTH TORONTO CHINESE BAPTIST CHURCH”
- TD Bank – “NORTH TORONTO CHINESE BAPTIST CHURCH”
As the church will not receive any notification of your online bill payment and payments are processed automatically, it is especially important for you to check and confirm the online payment is set up properly with the correct “Payee”.
Step 3 – Set up the bill payment account numberYour bill payment account (7 characters) = Offering number assigned by the church (6 characters) + an alphabet at the end to identify the purpose of your contribution (1 character)
For contribution to each fund type, a different Account Number is required under the same payee “North Toronto Chinese Baptist Church” .
For illustration only, E?????G = General fund offering, E?????M = Mission fund offering etc.
(E????? = your offering number).

- G – General Fund
- H – Chinese Class (for offering only, no registration fee)

We currently only accept offering by bill payment from the 1st to the 20th of each month (e.g. August 1st to August 20th). Please select a payment date within this date range for your offering payment.
Although the offering amount will be debited from your bank account immediately upon confirmation, it can take up to 4 business days for the offering to be credited to the church’s account. Your offering will only be considered received by the church upon receipt of the credit.
Interac E-Transfer
Online offerings can be made by Interac e-Transfer through your bank account. The process is simple and standard. Please click the link below to register with us and we will email you additional instructions.

We encourage the congregation to send offerings by bill payment method.
If the congregation chooses to send offerings by cheque, please make the cheque payable to the full name of our church "North Toronto Chinese Baptist Church" and mail to:

Please include your name, offering number and offering purpose in the memo line of the cheque. Unless indicated otherwise in the memo line, all offerings will be designated to the General Fund.

To allow sufficient time for postal delivery, please wait for at least 3 weeks after mailing before you contact the office if you have any questions or concerns.
Securities
Congregations can offer by stocks and bonds through the Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec (CBOQ). Please refer to the link below for details (relevant information can be found at the bottom of the page, select 'Other Gifts' under 'Other Ways to Give') or contact us at [email protected].
Please note:- Donation of securities requires arrangement between CBOQ and your broker. Please allow sufficient time to complete the required procedures.
- The Canadian Baptist Association of Ontario and Quebec (CBOQ) is responsible for all administrative arrangements and issuance of tax receipts for the donations.
