Bible Text: John 1:1-18 | Preacher: Kwan Chan | Series: Hear God Speak When We Read His Word | John wrote his Gospel in order to tell us that Jesus is the Logos, the Word of God. This means that He is not only God in the flesh, but that He is our reason for living. This means that we are saved for the purpose of growing in our witness of Him so that we can grow as a witness for Him. The promise is that through our witness, people will believe and be saved.

The Good News is that Jesus has given us His Holy Spirit; we are not orphans left to work on our own. His Spirit empowers us to be faithful witnesses that treasure Christ and live lives of joyful obedience so that we will also be fruitful witnesses.
