Christ Lives in Me

Passage: Galatians 2:15-21

The main message in Paul’s letter to the church in Galatia is that Christians are saved by faith and not by human effort. The only requirement for salvation is that a person has faith in Jesus Christ, who died for the penalty of sin and resurrected to be our Lord.

Our passage clarifies that faith is not benign. Rather, faith is a one-time invitation for Christ to be Lord in your life. After He lives in you, He will renovate your life, leading you to adjust your lifestyle so that you will live faithfully for His pleasure and purpose. Though we are called to submit, we do so with confidence, knowing that we are giving our lives to our Lord and Saviour, who loves us and gave Himself for us.
