God radically transformed Paul by revealing His love for him through Jesus Christ. His devotion to Christ was a response to the love that he was shown by Christ; God’s grace fuelled him to live for His glory and mission. Paul’s transformation serves as a reminder that our obedience is not fuelled by mere obligation or guilt, but by God’s great love for us.
