The parable of the Good Samaritan is a well-known teaching that is unique to the Gospel of Luke. In this lesson, Jesus teaches us to expand our definition of ‘neighbour’ from our close circle of friends & family to include all people; the call to ‘love our neighbour’ is to ‘love all people’. Our hope is that this passage will inspire us live out the church theme to ‘love our neighbour’, where we expand the borders of our caregiving so that our love will mirror the love of our God.
