Nurture with the Word
We are instructed to nurture fellow believers by preaching the Word of God. Every member has a responsibility to preach the Word. While the pastor preaches from the pulpit, all have a responsibility to preach the Word in their personal interactions where we are to reprove, rebuke, and exhort one another. Our passage informs us that in order for nurture to occur, we must lean on the Spirit to patiently preach and teach and to humbly submit to the preaching of our brothers and sisters.
