Jesus is on a mission to save humankind. He always has and He always will be. Jesus crossed the lake to Gadarenes to save a man from demonic possession and from social ostracism, and He crossed over from heaven to earth to save us from the penalty of our sins. Those He saves are called to mirror His saving activity. In the same way that the man received a mission after being saved by Jesus, we have also been given a mission: to tell of God’s redemptive purposes so that many can know Him and be saved.
