Weekly Announcements

Below are our weekly announcements. Our hope is that announcements are not just for your information, but also for your participation.

In-person Worship

Due to the easing of government restrictions, we are increasing our capacity limit to allow for more attendees.  Everyone will still be required to pre-register EVERY WEEK. The link for pre-registration will be posted online each week by Monday midnight for the next Sunday.

Click here to register for in-person worship service.

Registration will be first-come-first-served. If you require help to register, contact the church office ([email protected] or 416-733-8088).

We ask that you self-screen prior to coming in person. View this presentation that outlines the physical preparation of the church building and safety protocols.

Please arrive by 9:30 AM so that you will have time to complete the screening and service can start on time at 9:45 AM.  If you are unable to attend in-person worship for the day you have registered, please contact the church office as soon as possible to cancel your registration.

Please click here for our regathering FAQ where we address questions about children and youth ministry, prayer meeting, and safety protocols.

Please note the following:

1) If you or anyone in your household has symptoms of COVID-19:

2) We will continue to screen attendees upon entry, but will not be taking attendance for purposes of contact tracing.

3) Attendees will be allowed to sing during worship, though masking is still required.

4) For in-person Children Sunday Service, check the Children Ministry website for the latest updates.

5) Additional parking is available at 160 Hendon (Toronto Yugoslavian 7th-Day Adventist Church), and at 98 Finch Avenue West (North York Baptist Church) with permit.

6) All non-worship-related gatherings in the church building will be resuming. The church is working with the various departments to coordinate scheduling.

We ask that you remain vigilant in following the safety guidelines set by our local government to protect yourself and others.  Please continue to pray not only for protection and for healing for those who have been impacted, but also for God’s Will to be done and His Word to continue to be shared.

Prayer for Ukraine

In light of the current conflict in Europe, we ask you to pray for the people in Ukraine and the world leaders:

  • For God’s presence, mercy and comfort among the people in Ukraine and for their protection and safety.
  • For shelter and basic needs for displaced people, including separated families.
  • For wisdom and humility for world leaders to find peace and help refugees
  • For Christians in Ukraine, Russia, the neighbouring countries and throughout the world to have perseverance, faith, love, and hope as Christ’s witnesses
  • For God to give us compassion and wisdom to respond to ongoing world crises and to be Christ’s witnesses in our daily lives

Please join us for the mission prayer meeting on May 25th at 8p.m. for updates from our partner Canadian Baptist Ministries about the relief efforts and ministries in Ukraine.

If you would like to, donations can be made for their relief efforts at:  www.cbmin.org/product/ukraine-emergency-relief/
