Salvation is not the result of worldly wisdom, charismatic leaders, or attractive programs; God’s Spirit causes people to understand and to respond to the Good News with faith and repentance.

This reminder not only produces humility in us, but informs our activity. Our recognition of God’s power moves us to be vigilant prayer-warriors, not only for ourselves but for others. As we pray for God’s Spirit to work, He will respond by granting us (more) faith so that we may know God better and love Him more.
