Weekly Announcements

Below are our weekly announcements. Our hope is that announcements are not just for your information, but also for your participation.

December Family Worship Services

In these times, we are unable to gather with all the people we love. As a result, it’s easy to feel distant and lonely. So this Christmas season, we want to do something special to remind you that you are not alone; you belong to this faith family.

From Dec 13-27, our Sunday morning schedule will be as follows:
9:45-10:20AM – Family Worship Service
10:30-11:00AM – Community Sharing through Zoom (Click here to join)

Our hope is that, through these times of worship and community sharing, you will be reminded that Jesus didn’t just come to save you to be a child of God, He saved you to be a part of His family.

Meaning of Marriage Course: Jan-Mar 2021

“Marriage has the power to set the course of your life as a whole. If your marriage is strong, even if all the circumstances in your life around you are filled with trouble and weakness, it won’t matter. You will be able to move out into the world in strength.” – Tim Keller

Marriage is both a gift and a responsibility from God. Those who have been gifted with marriage have also been entrusted with the work of marriage.

The Meaning of Marriage is a course that teaches why God gave us the gift of marriage and points us to the timeless truths that marriage illustrates. It also highlights how we can faithfully fulfil our responsibility as a husband/wife.

The authors, Tim & Kathy Keller, believe “truth is transformative when processed in community.” Therefore, this class demands participants to commit to the full 10 meetings, opening themselves to new insights through the sharing of struggles and the implementation of biblical truths. Students will commit to finishing their reading and workbook assignments for each class.

Class size is limited. Please click here to sign up.

The required texts for this course are: The Meaning of Marriage and The Meaning of Marriage, the Workbook, both of which are written by Tim and Kathy Keller.

Church Incorporation Update

Through the pandemic, we have been working hard to continue our journey towards incorporation. We are now at the point where we will be presenting the incorporation documents for membership approval.

The first of three readings of the documents will be conducted during the membership meeting on Dec 27. We encourage members to join the meeting for this critical step.

Ministry Café

For the past six months, the Pastoral Team have taught us to be good stewards of spiritual gifts. To help brothers and sisters explore and use our spiritual gifts to build the Church; we have arranged a “Ministry Café”.

Before attending the “Ministry Café”, please

  2. Complete the Spiritual Gift Survey
  3. Match your spiritual gifts to the ministries by recording your scores on the table provided along with the reply sent to you upon your submission of the survey
  4. Attend the upcoming “Ministry Café” in January 2021 to explore the ministry associated with your spiritual gifts. Further announcement will be made on how and when you can join the “Ministry Café”. Stay tuned!
