God has gifted us with the Church so that we may experience deep community with Him and with one another. Many of us are also blessed with family and friends who love us. These relationships are meant to be gifts that we enjoy, not idols we worship. In today’s sermon, we are reminded that God alone is worthy of our worship and the one whom we can trust, for He is unchanging and unfailing. As we place our trust in Him, we will be empowered and inspired to love and serve others.
