The Pitfalls of Power
The Bible warns us that the pursuit of power and honour distracts us from God’s purposes for us. It also leads us to harm ourselves and those around us for a prize that is fleeting. As God’s children, we are to give up our pursuit for personal glory and live with God as our Ultimate Authority. This means that we submit ourselves to being vessels of worship to Him and blessing to others.
