Christians are called to grow in unity as we engage in God’s purpose for us to glorify Him by making followers of Jesus. The call to grow is an indication that we are all works-in-progress and that God has a plan for our flourishing. Therefore, He not only calls us to grow, but helps us grow by renewing our desires and attitudes so that we yearn after Him and His Kingdom. This internal transformation results in a change in the way we live, and allows us to experience true victory over sin as well as witness God’s power in our lives and in our community.
