Happy in Jesus
The pursuit of happiness is highly valued by our society. However, the author of Ecclesiastes says that while happiness is a good gift from God, it is a bad compass and guide that leads us to fleeting pleasure and away from God and His good purposes. As Christians, we are reminded that happiness is a by-product of our pursuit after God, who desires that we find our happiness and enjoyment in Him and not from our pursuit after self-centered indulgence.
