The Sermon on the Mount is one of Jesus’ most famous sermons. In his three-point sermon, He teaches that we are to be a light to the world, to pursue heavenly treasure, and to live in light of future judgment. This week, we are looking at the command to be a light to the world.

The Bible says that we were made in the image of God so that we can reflect God’s goodness, purity, and love to the world. The call to holiness is therefore not only for our blessing, but so that the world may gain glimpses of God’s goodness and be moved to respond to Him with faith and faithfulness.
