Weekly Announcements

Below are our weekly announcements. Our hope is that announcements are not just for your information, but also for your participation.

In-person Worship

Due to government restrictions, space will be limited and everyone will be required to pre-register EVERY WEEK. The link for pre-registration will be posted online each week by Monday midnight for the next Sunday.

Click here to register for in-person worship service.

Registration will be first-come-first-served. If you require help to register, contact the church office ([email protected] or 416-733-8088).

We ask that you self-screen prior to coming in person. View this presentation that outlines the physical preparation of the church building and safety protocols.

Please arrive by 9:30 AM so that you will have time to complete the screening and service can start on time at 9:45 AM.  If you are unable to attend in-person worship for the day you have registered, please contact the church office as soon as possible to cancel your registration.

Please click here for our regathering FAQ where we address questions about children and youth ministry, prayer meeting, and safety protocols.

Online Sharing and Prayer – Sunday at 11:00AM

During this season, many are unable to gather for in-person worship. As a result, they feel lonely and disconnected from the rest of the faith community.

We encourage you to join us for a time of sharing and prayer after our live-stream so you can connect with and support others who are worshipping online.

Christmas Service: Dec 18, 4:00-5:15PM

Theme: Open Doors and Open Hearts
Speaker: Pastor Cat Chan

In our Christmas service, we want to be reminded that Christmas is a time for open doors and open hearts. It is a time where we can practice hospitality and show Christ-like love to others. In addition, we get to have open hearts and be generous towards others, especially to those who are in need. This ultimately reflects our God, who opened up the doors to His heavenly home to welcome us in and opened up His heart by giving us the gift of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Registration for the service will open soon!

Jesus Network Christmas Gift Basket Outreach

Pastor Obed, who serves with the Jesus Network, is one of the missionaries supported by NTCBC and is our missionary of the month for November. Our hope is to not only support our missionaries with prayer and through giving, but also by partnering with them in ministry.

One of the ways we can partner with Pastor Obed is through the Christmas Gift Basket Outreach, where we prepare and deliver Christmas gift baskets to welcome Afghan families who reside in the GTA.  This is an opportunity for us to meet with Afghan families and share the gospel.  Our hope is that the families receiving the baskets will feel welcome and safe.

There are many ways you can be a partner in this ministry:

  1. Give
    • Contribute stationary supplies for the children (e.g. notebooks, pencils, pens, etc.)
    • Give financially
  1. Pack gift baskets on Saturday, December 4
  2. Deliver gift baskets (delivery dates: December 5-19).
    • If you choose to partner in this way, we ask that you attend a training session on Saturday, November 27.
  3. Learn about the ministry by attending a sharing session on Wednesday, November 24

Afghan refugee clothing donation

We will be running an Afghan Refugees clothing donation drive from now until Christmas. Please donate new or gently used (and washed) clothing, especially winter clothing like jackets, hats, gloves, scarfs, and boots.

Please put them into a plastic bag and drop them off into the box at the front counter on the first floor. They will be sorted and collected each week.

If you have questions, please speak to Rika Law or Josephine Poon.

Online Giving/Tithing

Offering is a privilege and responsibility for members. Our encouragement is for each member to prayerfully seek God’s guidance for how they ought to be giving in this season. All offering goes towards funding ministries locally and globally.
