Jesus Demands Disciple-Making
Bible Text: Matthew 4:12-22 | Preacher: Kwan Chan | Series: Live Like Jesus | The beginning of Jesus’ ministry was marked by three activities: preaching, blessing, and disciple-making. His command for His followers is to take after His example and to likewise preach, bless, and to make disciples.
Every Christian is commanded to believe in Him and to repent, meaning that we are to submit our lives to our King and to carry out His mandate of disciple-making. Jesus’ promise is that as we obey Him in faith, He will empower us to effectively teach, bless, and make disciples in His name.
