The Sermon on the Mount is Jesus’ most famous sermon. In his three-point sermon, He teaches that we are to be a light to the world, to pursue heavenly treasure, and to live in light of future judgment. Today, we focus on God’s promise that His followers will receive Eternal Life.

Jesus taught that all human-kind has been offered a second chance at salvation if we repent of our sins and follow Him. He emphasized that repentance is not a one-time thing, but a lifestyle; we are called to follow Him all the days of our lives. He warns that all who do not follow Him will be judged and condemned. It is important that we remember that His warning of Judgment is borne out of love, as He does not desire that anyone perish, but that all will believe and be saved.
